Will Raasch
Will began his career at the FDA Office of Orphan Products Development, where he led a study examining why rare disease drug candidates failed to reach approval. He discovered that many were abandoned simply because researchers could not find enough patients for clinical trials. He spent almost a decade at Baxter International, ultimately managing U.S. production of rare disease plasma products. Through this work, he saw firsthand the challenges patients face accessing diagnosis, treatment, and research opportunities. Inspired by an MIT initiative using community networks to identify hard-to-find patients, Will founded WeHealth to connect patients with research, resources, and one another. He holds degrees from Stanford University and Keck Graduate Institute.
