Our Mission

Ensuring that no one is alone in their health journey.

In every community, patients lead health outreach. WeHealth amplifies their impact, helping advocates connect neighbors to resources, support, and clinical trials that fit real needs, experiences, and interests. We put patients in the driver’s seat, because we believe that organic discovery beats top-down outreach every time.

We meet communities where they are, fostering conversations focused on patient interests and led by patient ambassadors. Our vision is healthcare shaped by patient voices: connections that enable people to thrive, share what matters, and feel less alone in their health journey.

Will Raasch
Founder, CEO

Will Raasch

Will began his career at the FDA Office of Orphan Products Development, where he led a study examining why rare disease drug candidates failed to reach approval. He discovered that many were abandoned simply because researchers could not find enough patients for clinical trials. He spent almost a decade at Baxter International, ultimately managing U.S. production of rare disease plasma products. Through this work, he saw firsthand the challenges patients face accessing diagnosis, treatment, and research opportunities. Inspired by an MIT initiative using community networks to identify hard-to-find patients, Will founded WeHealth to connect patients with research, resources, and one another. He holds degrees from Stanford University and Keck Graduate Institute.

Mahrad Saeedi
Co-Founder, COO

Mahrad Saeedi

Mahrad is passionate about advancing health equity by connecting underserved patient communities with resources, support, and research opportunities. Before co-founding WeHealth, he worked at Eversana, partnering with life sciences companies to improve patient access to innovative treatments. Through that work, he saw how difficult it was for the healthcare industry to effectively use digital tools to connect patients with care and research. At WeHealth, Mahrad focuses on building patient-driven communities that empower patients through shared support, education, and access to treatment opportunities. He holds a BS in Biology from Loyola Marymount University and an MBS in Biotechnology Management from Keck Graduate Institute.
